July 5th : A sinshiny day with two books and one lady

I went to downtown for buying books and skin care product yesterday. That was the first time for me to go to book store in Canada. My last teacher, Beata Piechocinska who suggested me to read for pleasure; she introduced two books for me, which were That Extra Half of Inch and Shopaholic. The book store in eaten center is not very big, but there are lots of interesting books. I went to there and found the two books she introduced. I opened the first book which was That Extra Half of Inch, and I saw a very beautiful high-heel shoe in the first page. At that moment, I decided to buy it because everyone who knew me knew that I addicted to shoes, verity of shoes. In addition, I fond that was really a very honest book to readers, the author, Victoria Beckham who taught people how to wear clothes and make-up properly. Which kind of clothes is suitable for you and which kind not is. I also bought the other book which was a 350 pages novel wrote by Sophie Kinsella. Sophie Kinsella is a writer and former financial journalist but she is not good at detail with her money. Her books are very popular, and some of them are filmed as movies. I am very excepting to read the book.

After buying those two books, I met my friends and went to a skin care store which was Kiehl in the queen street. The wheatear is a little bit hot outside. The sunshine was strong, and many people were waiting for the bus. I saw the people who around, they had different color, and some of them spoke different languages. When I saw the people who walk in the street, and they laughed and talked to each other, the beautiful church which was standing behind me, I realized that how amazing to live in a country which has multicultural at that moment.

The bus interrupted my thinking; we got in the bus and stood near window to see the people in the street. We got off in the Queen Street west and found that shore. When my friends and I was finding the products we need, a young lady came around us and asked us what we need. I asked her that whether there was a kind of product which could desalt the scar in my face or not. She sews my face for a few seconds, and said that they had it, but it did work for my skin because there were still many red spots on my face. It means my face was still injured. She said that I had to wait my skin become brown, and then I should use skin lightening lotion to help my skin resume. She is very patient explained a lot about how cosmetic works on different people. I could not understand all the time; therefore, I asked her several time for one question sometimes. However, she never showed that she is inpatient. She told me that my skin type was very easy to have scar and it was very difficult to resume, I had to take care myself very careful. She is a very nice lady and we talked a lot. Even though I did not buy anything, I still felt happy because I did waste my money at least. When I went back to home, I was thinking in the subway. She was not like other workers who were in the other stores; most of them suggested me to buy verity of product for my skin.

I am thinking about this until I write this scrap. Why are they different? I have to think about how much honest people have nowadays, how much honest my friends have, and how much honest I have.

It sounds like you met a truly honest business person. I always think that such a person will be successful after all, even if they spend a lot of time with a customer who doesn't buy something, because eventually everyone will know and come to trust them.

It depends, I think, on why someone wants to be in business in the first place. If you want to be in business to make a lot of money, you will think of that first, and you will have to be careful to make rules for yourself about how you treat customers. And then your customers will feel that. But if you want to be in business because, in the first place, it is a way to meet a lot of people and learn about their lives and kind of know everything about the neighborhood, then you will naturally do that, and people will not feel suspicious about how much money they give you for your services. I think that good business people are usually quite social people. What do you think?
